Today I wanted to show you one of my favorite outfits I’ve been wearing lately. It includes two of my absolute favorite pieces for the season – puffer coat and trousers with stripes.
Puffer coats. First of all – they’re super warm and cozy. And yes, the oversized ones like the one that I have kinda make you look like a big marshmallow, but for some reason I’m quite into that. I chose to buy a black puffer coat because (duuuuh) it goes with all the other colors and I especially went for a long one because it’s more warm that way. So, when it comes to puffer coats, I like to create more of a minimal look – I don’t know why, I just kind of like that style and I’m pretty sure I’ve been mostly inspired by these youtubers called ToThe9s. I love theirs style, definitelly check them out if you haven’t yet. I’ve noticed that they like to wear all kinds of oversized coats and jackets and they make their outfits look so simple yet so damn stylish – I simply fell in love with it. So yeah, they’re one of my biggest inspiration. And honestly, I feel like literally anything goes with puffer coats, really. Tho my favorite pants to wear underneeth it are either mom jeans or some kind of dressy pants ish (I don’t know how to call them). I especially like those checked pants that are super trendy right now or those black or grey ones with stripes on the sides (like the ones I’m wearing in this look).
Trousers with stripes. You can find loads of different ones in ZARA at the moment. And I love how they look – so simple yet those stripes on the sides make it so siiick. You can dress them up or down however you want, so that’s a plus too. What I like to do personally is to wear some kind of a simple sweater that brings out the color of the stripes of the trousers and that pulls the outfit together very well. That way it stays quite minimalistic but quite powerful.
And when I’m wearing this puffer coat, I like to wear some kind of a bit of chunky boots, especially the ones with a bit of a heel like the ones in this look. I feel like it balances out the look.
