Let’s Talk About Shoes.

Hi there! How are you? I hope you’re doing fantastic, you deserve that.

Today I wanna talk about shoes, because who doesn’t like shoes, right?

I feel like most people get quite enthusiastic about footwear. Some of us choose shoes so carefully that, in a sense, they turn into some kind of representation of our personality and soul. And I think that’s beautiful.

Anyway. Back to the topic.

For quite a while now, I’ve been working with this footwear company called Deichmann – I’m sure you all know them. And honestly, I like Deichmann a lot, ‘cause they sell shoes that aren’t expensive and basically anyone can find something special for themselves.

A few weeks ago I’ve got a chance to go to an event, where Deichmann introduced us to their new fall-winter collection. So today, let’s talk a bit about a few of my favorite picks from the collection.

Le go.

Ugly fashion and dad sneakers.

It’s hard not to notice that one of the biggest inspirations for this year’s Deichmann collection is ugly fashion. And if you know my personal style well enough, you won’t be surprised when I say that I’m super happy about that. I mean, so many ugly sneakers to choose from, really. You can find cool neutral-color pairs that would go well with almost any outfit; and then there are these awesome and super fun colored pairs that would make any of your outfits much more unique and stylish.

Still talking about ugly fashion here.

In this collection you can find quite a few pairs of sneakers with this massive boxy platform. Some would say it looks ridiculous and pretentious (I don’t know, maybe it does), but in my opinion, platforms are great. And maaaan, there’s something about ugly fashion that is so fresh and freeing that you simply can’t not love it. I feel like it inspires people not to give that much of a damn about what others think about them. And that’s always a great thing.

Boxy heels.

I’ve never been a fan of shoes with slim and thin heels. They look great on other people, but I personally feel super uncomfortable whenever I try to wear them.

And this fall Deichmann is all about those boxy heels – quite a few pairs to choose from. I love that elegant yet tough vibe they give off. Wearing shoes like that provides you with a certain kind of confidence – I don’t even know how to explain it, but it simply feels like you can easily take on the whole world.

You can check out these shoes and all the other cool ones at Deichmann online store
