There are days when I simply can’t find her. She was here, how is it even possible that she’s not? Where is she? I try to go on with my day, but nothing feels quite right. I tell myself, oh, she’s gonna come back soon, don’t worry. But I just can’t stop myself from wondering. Why she left. What I’m supposed to do now. Then I start looking for clues. In my empty bed sheets. In her favorite movies. In “Bob’s Burgers” series. In the faces of those she like the most. In her favorite foods. In crepes with curd and spinach. In hazelnut ice cream. In Greek salad. I go through the pages of her favorite books. I wipe the dust off of “The Thorn Birds”. Maybe something will fall out. Something to grasp for. I look for her in her favorite clothes, I put them on in order to feel her presence. I look for her in her favorite teas and in the taste of her favorite mango fruit. But. She’s not there. She must be somewhere else. Somewhere that I can’t reach.
And the thing is – deep down I know that she’s gonna come back eventually. She always does. But I just can’t stop searching.
Maybe they were right by saying that a person has to wander for a bit in order to find oneself. Maybe that’s all we can ask for.
Hey peeps! What’s up?
It’s a spring break for me, though I’ve got tons and tons of stuff to do for uni so yey for that. I don’t know who wins here. Anyway, today I’m here with a new outfit post.
It was a pretty chilly day but I wanted to shoot this particular outfit, so yeah, I almost froze standing there. But that’s beside the point. I have on this long bodycon skirt (which I love) and I actually found it at a local thrift store. It’s originally from ZARA and costed around 5 euros. Simply perfect. My little Mickey Mouse crop top is also thrifted. Honestly, I can’t stress enough how much I love thrift shopping. It’s literally the best way to find cool + cheep clothes. It’s not very easy though, because you have to go and really SEARCH for nice pieces. Sometimes you end up finding nothing, but when you do come across something amazing, it feels better than anything in the world, trust me.
I finally got my hands on these fishnet tights and I’m in love. It can really spice up a simple outfit. Everything just looks more cool, you know.
And, of course, a black bomber jacket. What more can I say.
